It seems that everyone has a blog now days. So it's easy to make one of my own, right? I mean a decade ago I would create webpages using HTML code. For fun. Blog-o-land is created using given templates. Easy-Peasy, right? WRONG.
The biggest problem is the language barrier. I know, I know, you are wondering why wouldn't I just write in my native language? Well, I am but the rest of my "page" doesn't want to cooperate.
You see I'm living in Japan and Google is oh so nice as to decide what language it thinks I want, without my agreeing. Being in Japan, Google figures it's Japanese. YOU'RE WRONG GOOGLE!!!!
Well, now you are saying, "why don't you just go to settings and change the language? Hmm... Why didn't I think of that? Let's see. Here's the rub: Google is now being shown in Japanese characters, so I can't even tell where, what, why or how to find my language settings.
So, if you are reading this blog and find that half of it is English and the other half is in Japanese, don't complain to me. I've tried, Google has won this round.
Oh look! I'm blogging!
